With these few examples I am providing below, I present my case. It has become a classic, and rightfully so. This under-the-sea masterpiece is so precise in encompassing the scenes we encounter throughout life. I consider messages that consist of a perfectly captured moment from this aquatic sensation of the highest esteem. On a surface level, this might be hard to believe, but it is not because life is necessarily simple, but because this television show is imperatively complex. I am figuratively and literally “starbound”. I am starting my journey of adulthood by moving to “the Star” in Frisco, TX and interning for the Dallas Cowboys through my college. “Reaching for the stars” is symbolism for pursuing greater heights that remain unseen.Īs a Texan, I pride myself in being from the “Lone Star State”. Some will spend hours gazing into their mysteries. All we can really collect is they are really big and bright rocks. They are so far from us, we don’t really know what they are like. “Reach for the stars.” The stars are obscure. If we fail to recognize our purpose, passion, or destination, we will retreat to the pattern of mediocrity in everyday life and survival. Even if we are not “there” yet, our ambition derives from realizing that we are starbound. “Earn your star.” If everything was labeled with a star, it wouldn’t have any significance. A five pointed polygon or a larger-than-life ball of fire? Stars sure do get a lot of credit. Some believe that destinies are written in them. Of something that stands above everything else.
